Leah Prysce

Integrative Counsellor and Psychotherapist

A supportive space for women, young people and adults experiencing anxiety, neurodiversity, self-doubt and difficult emotional patterns.

Leah offers a warm, collaborative and person-centred space where clients can explore what is happening for them at their own pace. She has a particular interest in supporting women with anxiety, helping clients better understand anxious thoughts, emotional patterns and the ways these may be affecting daily life, relationships and self-confidence, as well as experience supporting those with neurodiversity.

As an integrative counsellor and psychotherapist, Leah can draw on techniques from different therapeutic approaches where helpful. This may include Cognitive Behavioural Therapy techniques to help clients recognise and gently challenge anxious or negative thoughts, alongside tools for managing anxiety. She may also draw on ideas from Transactional Analysis to help clients understand patterns in how they relate to themselves and others.

Leah is a Registered Member of the BACP and has completed a Postgraduate Diploma in Counselling and Psychotherapy.

Common areas of support:

Anxiety, neurodiversity, low self-esteem, self-doubt, negative thought patterns, stress, overwhelm, relationship patterns, emotional wellbeing and life transitions.

Works with: Young people aged 11+ and adults

Personal insight: I am a ballet dancer and a roller skater, but when I need a more relaxing form of self-care you can find me reading a fantasy book, hanging out with my three cats or attempting whichever new craft I have decided to give a go! I have a particular interest in supporting autistic young people and women.
