How Paddy works
Paddy works in a warm, collaborative and person-centred way. His integrative approach allows him to combine counselling, psychotherapy and coaching according to each client’s individual needs and goals.
His life, business and performance coaching can help clients clarify their goals, navigate change and make meaningful progress in their personal and professional lives.
He may also draw on mindfulness, NLP and, where appropriate, hypnotherapy. His focus is on helping people develop greater insight and confidence, alongside practical strategies that support meaningful and lasting change.
Professional background
Paddy undertook several years of counselling and psychotherapy training before establishing his private practice in 2007.
Krysallis continued to develop and, through a longstanding partnership with a national charity, Paddy built and managed a network of practitioners providing problem-gambling support across Yorkshire and Humberside. He delivered this service for approximately 13 years, alongside growing Krysallis and its wider therapeutic work.
In 2023, Paddy made the decision to step away from the national contract and refocus Krysallis as a more local therapy and wellbeing service. It has since continued to evolve, bringing together a growing team of Counsellors, Psychotherapists, Psychologists, Coaches and specialist practitioners.
Paddy studied at Lancaster University and holds a Graduate Diploma in Counselling, a Transactional Analysis Foundation Certificate and qualifications in performance and life coaching and NLP.
His wider professional background includes occupational testing, leadership development, workplace counselling, employee support, stress management and problem-gambling consultancy and counselling.
Works with: Adults, Professionals and Organisations
Sessions: In-person and Online
