Simon Ward
Hypnotherapist
Supporting adults and young people aged 12 and over with anxiety, depression, fears, phobias and unwanted habits.
Simon is a qualified hypnotherapist with a particular interest in helping adults and young people experiencing anxiety and depression. His calm and straightforward approach helps clients feel comfortable, remain in control and use their own imagination and strengths to create positive change.
Who Simon commonly supports
Simon supports people experiencing anxiety, low mood or depression, as well as fears and phobias such as fear of flying or public speaking. He also works with people who want to change habits or addictive behaviours involving smoking, food or gambling.
Hypnotherapy may also support people managing persistent pain, IBS and health-related symptoms such as tiredness, nausea or anxiety. This work can complement appropriate medical care rather than replace it.
Simon has completed additional training in hypnotherapy with children and welcomes young people aged 12 and over. When working with anyone under 18, their parent or guardian must remain in attendance.
How Simon works
Simon uses hypnotherapy to help clients enter a natural state of focused attention and deep relaxation while remaining aware and in control. He believes this can help people access their own inner resources, feel more grounded and develop a stronger sense of emotional wellbeing.
His approach is practical and tailored to the individual. Simon helps clients use their imagination and creative abilities to address thoughts, feelings or behaviours that may be limiting their confidence, choices or quality of life. His interest in meditation and self-hypnosis also informs his understanding of relaxation and wellbeing.

Simon became interested in hypnotherapy while studying for a psychology degree. During his career as a paramedic, he qualified as a hypnotherapist in 2013. He has since undertaken further training in supporting depression and anxiety through hypnotherapy.
