Tammy offers a warm, supportive and collaborative space where clients can talk openly about what is happening in their lives. Whether you are experiencing anxiety, low mood, relationship difficulties, bereavement, trauma or feeling stuck, therapy can provide an opportunity to gain new insight and move forward with greater confidence.

Her aim is to work alongside clients at their own pace, creating a safe environment where they feel heard, understood and supported.

How Tammy works

Tammy’s approach is collaborative, compassionate and tailored to the individual. Whilst her foundation is person-centred, she draws on a range of therapeutic approaches to meet each client’s unique needs and circumstances.

She believes there is no single approach that works for everyone. Together, therapist and client can explore challenges at a pace that feels comfortable, developing greater self-awareness, resilience and confidence whilst working towards meaningful and lasting change.

Professional background

Tammy has trained in person-centred, integrative and cognitive behavioural approaches, alongside specialist training as a trauma-informed practitioner and online and telephone counsellor.

She continues to undertake professional development and has particular interests in inner child work, mindfulness, trauma, and supporting clients with autism, ADHD and ADD.

Works with: Young People (16+) and Adults

Sessions: Online, Telephone and In Person (Mondays and Wednesdays)

Personal insight

Outside of work, Tammy enjoys yoga, reading, baking gluten-free cakes and spending time with friends and family.
