our approaches

At krysallis we work with organisations of all sizes to equip their people with the knowledge, skills and attitudes to help establish a wellbeing workplace culture: an open, robust and emotionally healthy working environment. We offer a range of services.

workplace counselling: this approach focuses on providing a safe and confidential space in which individuals are able to work through difficult thoughts and feelings and in which a strong and trusting therapeutic relationship can form.

lifestyle and business coaching: coaching offers a more practical and dynamic way of addressing unsatisfactory aspects of the person's private or working life. Consideration is given both to underlying, and usually unrecognised, causative factors; and to searching for and applying solutions which really fit the individual's personality and aspirations.

Employee coaching and employee counselling differ in their perspectives and methods. For example, a workplace coach will encourage a future-orientated approach which will be facilitated through both experiential exercises and thought experiments; whereas time with a workplace counsellor, whose focus is on empathetic understanding of the person's feelings of distress, will be more reflective than active. However, it is perfectly possible to incorporate elements of coaching into designated counselling sessions, and vica versa, where this is helpful. All krysallis practitioners are qualified in both fields. 

stress & pressure profiling: using a range of well developed, valid and reliable risk assessments, stress audit and pressure tools, we are equipped to undertake thorough problem identification. The root causes of the stress and pressure so many people experience are clarified. You are then in a position to begin the process of stress-reduction. Having guided you through this, we will teach you easy and time-efficient ways to monitor stress levels.

wellbeing workshops: individual wellbeing contributes to corporate wellbeing, and does so most effectively through the medium of the group. We deliver wellbeing workshops aimed at raising awareness of the effects of stress in the workplace. These feature stress-management training and relaxation techniques, including feedback sessions on stress levels. We also facilitate healthy living workshops, in which participants are encouraged to share their knowledge and experience relating to healthy behaviour and exercise, and help each other identify and commit to positive change. Further workshop topics include communication skills and leadership development. krysallis also delivers personal growth and empowerment programmes.
